Pushing my Buttons

I have been riding horses all my life and consider myself a good horseman. Recently I began leasing a 10 year old Thoroughbred gelding named Joe. Joe spent about 7 years on the race track and is a good sized, strong, and strong headed horse.

I am not the type of person that just rides to ride. I have to RIDE and well. Joe is a real challenge to me.

He is smart enough to try an push my buttons and push them he does. But what does not happen is he does not get a response other than what is required to get Joe to do what I want.

The other part to the is sore muscles.
